These just completed socks have to be one of my favorite patterns to knit up.
The pattern is available on Ravelry by the name Olympian Socks, by Sheryl Giles - a free pattern.

I used Hawthorne Fingering Multi Yarn in the Goose Hollow colorway.
Hawthorne yarns use colorway names from neighborhoods in Portland, Oregon, and other areas in the Pacific Northwest, and are absolutely wonderful to knit with and to wear!

Jo! They are so gorgeous! You and Russ must have such happy feet! Is the new method of knitting going to work for you? I absolutely love your blog!!! All the beautiful pastel colors. I wish I were a "Spring" gal. Your life always speaks renewal! I want to walk in the foliage and flowers with happy socks too! Such beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThese are actually my old way of knitting socks, and don't know if I'll ever give it up completely - too easy to knit without thinking :)
ReplyDeleteI promise to make you some "everyday" socks like these to enjoy tiptoeing through the tulips - love you sis!
